Fata Informatica is a company that cares about its customers. In light of the changes introduced by the new European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), EU Regulation 2016/679, and also taking into account Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree No. 101/2018, we have updated our privacy policy. It is therefore important for us to ensure maximum transparency regarding how we process data and keep it secure.

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

Fata Informatica S.r.l. collects and processes data exclusively in order to send, via e-mail, service communications and promotions relating to our services/products.


Pursuant to Article 6, the legal basis that legitimizes the processing is the Data Subject’s consent, which is freely given and may be withheld, and may in any case be withdrawn at any time pursuant to Article 7(3). Providing the data necessary for these purposes is not mandatory, and refusal to provide it will not result in any negative consequences, except for the inability to receive commercial communications.

 

RECIPIENTS OR CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

The Data Subject’s data may be accessed by natural persons appointed as Data Processors and by natural persons authorized to process the data as necessary to carry out the tasks assigned to them.


Please note that the data will not be disclosed/transferred to any other company outside of Fata Informatica S.r.l.

If a violation of rights is suspected, a complaint may be lodged with the competent supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77(1) GDPR. The right to bring proceedings before the competent judicial authority is also preserved, pursuant to Article 79 of the same Regulation.

 

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Processing is carried out through automated tools (e.g., using electronic procedures and media) and/or manually (e.g., on paper media) for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected and, in any case, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The data will be retained for as long as the (contractual and commercial) relationship with us continues, or until deletion is requested, as well as for the time necessary to fulfill legal obligations.

 

TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES

The data will not be processed by IT service providers, in their capacity as Data Processors, operating outside the European Union.

The websites www.fatainformatica.com, www.digitalinstitute.it, www.sentinet3.com are owned and managed by Fata Informatica S.r.l., which ensures compliance with personal data protection regulations.

Analytics cookies are used to collect data in aggregated form, and third-party cookies are used to improve the user experience.

 

COOKIES

Information is processed automatically and collected exclusively in aggregated form in order to verify the correct functioning of the website and for security reasons (as of 25 May 2018, pursuant to Articles 6 and 7 of EU Regulation 2016/679, such information is processed on the basis of the Controller’s legitimate interests).

For security purposes (anti-spam filters, firewall, virus detection), automatically recorded data may also include personal data such as the IP address, which could be used, in accordance with applicable laws, to block attempts to damage the website itself or cause harm to other users, or in any case malicious activities or activities constituting a crime. Such data are never used to identify or profile the user, but only to protect the website and its users (as of 25 May 2018, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f), such information is processed on the basis of the Controller’s legitimate interests).

The data received will be used exclusively to provide the requested service and only for the time necessary to provide the service.

The information that website users choose to make public through the services and tools made available is provided knowingly and voluntarily by the user, releasing this website from any liability in relation to any violations of law. It is the user’s responsibility to verify that they have the necessary permissions to upload third-party personal data or content protected by national and international laws.

Data collected during the operation of the website are used exclusively for the purposes indicated above and are retained for the time strictly necessary to carry out the specified activities, and in any case no longer than 10 years. In any event, data collected by the website will never be provided to third parties for any reason, unless it is a legitimate request by the judicial authority and only in the cases provided for by law.
